No devotion today …
Although here I am, at 9:50 pm sitting at my Austin computer in Margaret’s desk chair since mine broke into two pieces before we left. In Arkansas and Oklahoma I drove through unexpectedly beautiful national forests today on two lane roads for several hours, and after a short nap sitting up in my driver’s seat across from the beautiful Choctaw casino, I had a wonderful extended conversation with my friend Kathe from Valpo about our spiritual journeys and destination, while I drove and drove on the superhighways all the way back into Texas.
Present yourselves to God as raised from the dead to life.
Back in Austin I drank cold apple cider and felt happy to be home! Tomorrow I will unpack the car.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? Of course not! You have become obedient from the heart.
